  • new,
  • inventive, and
  • capable of industrial application.


The invention may not, at least in the Netherlands, relate to discoveries, aesthetic creations and rules for performing mental acts. Nor may the invention relate to plant or animal varieties or methods of essentially biological nature. Methods for treating the human or animal body are also precluded from grant of patent.
